We actively partner with local restaurants, grocery stores, farms, and food banks to rescue high-quality food, preventing it from being discarded and supporting Ottawa's goal of reducing carbon emissions.

Volunteers with food safety training pick up the food. To ensure the highest level of safety and trust, all our Food Pickers and Delivery Drivers undergo mandatory police verification and Vulnerable Sector Checks.

Once picked up, the food is delivered to newcomer families in Ottawa! Powered by our caring, vetted volunteers, we ensure reliable and dignified access to food, fostering new beginnings and strengthening our community—one safe drop-off at a time.
